really loved the middle segment. both temple and sidibe killed it, and it was a genuinely interesting, moving story. i wish they made a non-drunk movie out of it.

so according to my amateur unofficial count the two most prominent filipino characters on american network tv are both breakdancers. i guess it's progress? at least we're no longer just mail-order brides. oh, wait http://deadline.com/2016/09…

only 2 episodes proved disappointing to me. the rest went from decent to really good. but the threesome episode had no conflict. everybody got what they wanted, no problems. i didn't know why this was being filmed. and controlada could've been great, right up until they cheated. which was the most obvious, cliche

devastatingly good show

don't forget Treadsparent!

she actually mentions vinterberg and von trier and then you guys don't talk about dear wendy?!?! shucks

i feel like bubbling is more akin to being placed in cryogenic storage as opposed to solitary confinement i.e. they aren't conscious

"i wanna see what kinda nips i'm working with." "straight truth delivery" so many good lines

oh no, how will i know a new episode actually comes on without these reviews?

i didn't *see* mail robot but i'm pretty sure we heard him because i got excited that we might have an appearance!

maybe i'm reading too much av club when during the episode i actually noted to myself "hey danny shows up AND it's a charles grandy episode; the reviewer should be happy."

“Yeah, I’m more of a skin guy myself.”
"Different strokes…"
Sudeikis' face after this line was gold. GOLD, I TELL YA

"what happened?! where's the kitchen sink?!"
"oh, they needed it for the downton finale."

one day i hope to be as passionate about something as bertie is about the holiday.

at some point they'll be able to make a supercut of people saying things offhandedly, a lightbulb going off in ichabod's head, followed by him running to a book on a shelf and some good ol' expozish.

this was hella sweet

i thought the best emotional note was when lily realized the ducks were orphans (like she used to be) and finally started to be interested in the whole magilla.

it was letterman who recommended he reverse the positioning of the table and band on the ed sullivan stage.
