*This* episode was the American Horror Story: abandonment, alienation, betrayal, injustice, heartache.
"Kwuh-VEN-jah-nay"
I understand the Mayor of London installed sensors along the perimeter of the city, so that every time an American steps in, it triggers "London Calling", and a Palace Guardsman, constable and ageing punk rocker with a Cockney accent will step out to reassure them that they're in the right place.
Great, now can we get Iran to threaten a nuclear strike if Michael Bey makes another Transformer movie?
Wait, American Idol is sponsored by Coca Cola? When it's broadcast here in the UK, they pixelate the glasses. I just assumed that they had pictures of vaginas on them.
My favourite part of the story was showing how Taran society treated the technical support people like serfs, only interested in making sure their gadgets work. Thank goodness we don't have such attitudes here and now…

I'm in the minority for not liking Hannibal. I loathe the unreal, theatrical production of it all, where no one speaks naturally (and when they do speak, I have to turn the volume up to maximum to catch whatever florid non-sequitor Hannibal is saying) and I have to rename the episode titles to try and distinguish the…
And is that why when a shotgun blows up in my face, I don't see tweeting birds around my head, just blood and charred flesh?
"The Encounter" is one of those episodes I never saw on syndication but always wanted to. Reading this, however, I'm not so sure now. Is it worth looking for?
