Why not stay in and rent John Wick from Amazon or something?

After District 9 I would have jumped for joy at the news of Blomkamp taking over the Alien franchise. Now he's just done the same movie two more times except with stupider scripts and thus I have no confidence in him.

No, I've grown up around them and most of them just say "over there"

I actually enjoyed Only God Forgives. It was really pretty and I could get past the fucked-up pacing and enjoy the few good scenes. If you were looking for more action, go watch The Raid 2. It's a doozy.

I guess Margot Robbie was no Audrey Hepburn if this reviewer's only mention of her is the gap in their ages. Either that or he just weirdly dismissed her to focus on Smith's performance.

Have you read the Drizzt books? I remember reading the first one as a kid and loving it.

What's a parody that doesn't ruin itself by being too long?

Exit Through The Gift Shop is a crock even though many (read: simpletons) remain convinced of its veracity? Do you people seriously find Mr. Brainwash hard to believe and yet have no issue with the reality of Tommy Wiseau? Did you read his AV Club interview?!

Whatever keeps Franco away from the director's chair is a good thing.

Probably because I took a class on Ulysses. Infinite Jest wasn't difficult comprehension-wise so much as organized in a complex way and once I found some pieces clarifying it I was fine. I simply had trouble focusing on Gravity's Rainbow because characters meant dick-all to the story and I really rely on characters to

I've read Gravity's Rainbow. Most difficult book I've ever read, and I've read Ulysses and Infinite Jest. I tried to get through Inherent Vice, but couldn't get past the overbearing 70s vernacular.

Inherent Vice has nothing on Dr. Strangelove and I bet history will prove that.
