Is it possible to think the concept of this episode was pretty hilarious, but also think that Nathan and Mimsy are stupid characters? They could've taken them out of this episode and it would've basically still worked for me.

Yeah I remember back at the end of Season 3B when MTV showed a preview for Season 4 as soon as the finale credits rolled. I had a feeling they weren't going to have enough time to write a solid plot for this season.
