I totally agree. Pedro Pascal is magnetic but that only underscores what a big missed opportunity Javier Peña is for the show. A few sad scenes with hookers does not a complex character make!

David Harbour as Hop gives me major Harrison Ford vibes. I half expect him to say "Boring conversation anyway" every time he punches someone out.

The name Shepard might also be a reference to Half-Life: Opposing Force protagonist Adrian Shephard, a similarly fresh-faced military type who is last seen fighting a monster in a secret lab where an interdimensional portal has opened.

Despite Clemenza's excellent cooking, it's the chow mein scene in The Godfather that makes me hungry.
