Have you listened to "High Water," the jazz album El-P made with pianist Matthew Shipp? Highly recommended.

Dear Coaches Corner is excellent, it is my favorite track from Supportin Caste. I haven't listened to Failed States, yet. But eventually I will.
I'm looking forward to the remix album, Meow the Jewels.
So, there is no creator in popular culture worth following? They all suck? Nobody who is considered a pop culture creator will ever accomplish anything of the same caliber as the dead people you list?
Propaghandi…they were the first punk band I really got into. I loved How To Clean Everything and seeing them live for the first time was just amazing.
I don't listen to them that much anymore, but when I do get in the mood, I find myself reaching for Potemkin City Limits. Fixed Frequencies is one of my favorite…
Joss Whedon - he is my master now
Diamanda Galas -ok…maybe not so much pop culture, but I adore her
R. Scott Bakker - he caputred my attention with his fantasy fiction, which is some of the best around (IMHO) and continues to fascinate me with his blog, Three Pound Brain, which is mainly a place for him to flesh out his…
Glee was a guilty pleasure of mine during the firxst season. I was willing to forgive it's MANY faults just to have a show of its type. I especially liked the Dream On episode and the Safety Dance sequence. But I gave up after the first season.
An artists whose paintings I don't really understand is Georgia O'Keeffe. I remember going to the Milwaukee Art museum with a friend who loves O'Keeffe and he kept trying to change my mind but he failed.
Objects in Space would get my vote for single best tv episode ever. I LOVE that episode.
The Terror is excellent.
Please, dear Lord, never let me get scurvy.
For me, it is the show Friends. I've only seen a handful of episodes and I could never get into it.
Check out R. Scott Bakker's review of Infinite Jest over on his blog.

My favorite scene is from Joss Whedon's adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing.
It's the post wedding scene between Beatrice and Benedick where they finally profess their love for one another which leads to Beatrice demanding that Benedick kill Claudio for slut shaming Hero.
