You're not good at whatever you thought you were doing.

Ellaria turned into a one dimensional tool for framing other characters (Cersei, as it happens) the second she orchestrated the coup in Dorn. Since then, none of her emotional palette has really made sense/been consistent. For her to give Cersei the satisfaction of an emotional breakdown is a stretch and a half, but

"You don't deserve to be on that cross, you lazy, wine-loving bisexual!"

whats infuriating is that his whole schtick was on rapidly ebbing life support since his child custody trial blew up in his face. he was on his way out the door. so kelly's assertion that somehow he's relevant enough to justify being trotted out into the spotlight is a particularly brazen slap in the face to people

It's testimony to the absolute awesome power of Nora and Kevin's scene, that such an obvious-on-paper event like the doves suddenly flying into frame left me literally cheering and clapping with tears on my face. Couldnt agree more about it being one of the best series finales ever made.

The Grifters.. yes… but the 'dont take it out' comment is likely a coy nod to Sympathy For Mr Vengeance.

Safe to say that next time we see that rope in the basement, it wont be holding up a bag of clothes.

Hi I'm just here for the emotional support?

Awesome news guys, you can stop trotting out Lost references when referring to things that aren't simply dreadful. Like for ever and ever. Starting now.

Ok now Im just kinda confused.

Yeah I took that to be the first time she considered that it wasnt just a 'baby' but an actual person, and that her responsibility to it was going to be total and essentially eternal. And that was not a realistic path for her. And I think her breakdown in the cafe was her non-vocal communication of that reality more

    Honestly.

What makes you think O’Keefe is anything but a pawn for the same people Dar is told he answers to?

Agreed, It's kind of a lazy review honestly.

I think the one-sentence explanation of why Hannah and Adam parted after all is lazy in the extreme. It was a supremely complex, nuanced moment and the total impossibility of hanging a simple label on it is exactly what makes this show so exceptional. To see a writer fall back on such a shockingly one dimensional

Her Japan arc was a tour de force and I think they just kinda decided to leave well enough alone once the Shosh dust settled. I'm sure she will have one final transformative thrust in the name of closure but really, I feel like I got what I need from Shosh, and of all the characters she was my favorite by light years.

So you hate the episode because the people in it act distastefully? Is that really what you think a reviewer does?

Fallout 4 was relentlessly depressing somehow, HZD seemed to flirt less with existential emotional nihilism and focus more on a well developed, evenly paced sci-fi narrative with a compelling emotional undertone. Loved both to bits but all I felt when Fallout 4 ended was relief, and 2 days after I finished HZD I

Respectfully I'm no ones idea of a 'gamer' and this game was transcendent for me. Soooooo..?

As much as I loved this season and this show as a whole, what I loved most was the juxtaposition of the characters as they discovered new worlds and were changed by them. And we saw some of that with Floki but, overwhelmingly, the show is morphing into a basic character driven Viking soap opera.
