I was hoping so hard that they would rename Yawkey Way after David Ortiz…I mean I guess it sort of happened with the Yawkey Way Extension?

It blows my mind that he didn't win an Emmy for Two Cathedrals of all episodes!
Really? He's gotten around quite a bit voice-acting wise. He was the voice of Guru Pathik in Avatar: The Last Airbender but I know he's done a few other shows.
I dunno, man. 2009 and 2014 were really harsh too.
Whenever I see Christina Hendricks, I do think "I can't believe she married the Schnozzberries Guy…"
Sorry for misreading. I wasn't sure what you had meant exactly.
Nasim Pedrad joined the cast at the worst possible time. It was in the middle of The Kristen Wiig Show era where it seemed like the writing was too lazy to incorporate any of the women not named Kristen Wiig into the cast. Then once Wiig left, the newer batch of women came into the pray and kind of left her in the…
I actually think Tim Meadows is one of the most underrated cast members. I never cared for the Ladies' Man but I thought he was great in sketches where he had to react to things. I mean he's the guy who made Jingleheimer Junction work, IMO.
As someone who went to take a couple classes at community college at that time (yes, even after I had a Bachelor's Degree…I made some weird choices), it was scarily accurate to the anime club at the college that I had decided to sit in on a few meetings.
I really enjoyed the shit out of the Hairspray musical so I'm actually curious to see how this goes down. I mean I did see the original Hairspray which I also enjoyed immensely. However, something about the musical just always makes me happy.
I can see it somehow working. After the job she did hosting SNL this past season, I'm actually able to see this happen.
We work hard, we play hard.
At least until the Bin Laden joke a bit later (I think it was) considering what we found out the following day.
So should we start saying "Thanks, Seth Meyers" instead of "Thanks, Obama"
It's really a fascinating show between it's strange staying power, the surrealness, the great cast and the lack of love from critics and audience. It's like almost worthy of a college thesis or an article just because its sheer existence is baffling considering everything that went against it.
Yeah Debbie Downer worked in that case because of Rachel Dratch cracking up. It's the rarity of someone slipping up that makes breaking all the more exciting and fun when it happens. I remember last season, Vanessa Bayer breaking during a sketch during the season finale which was alright. I disliked the sketch to…
The Drew Carey Show was an interesting show to say the least. I enjoyed the musical segments they'd randomly bust out into. And I liked when they screwed with the format every so often. And it had a great cast too…it's such an odd little show.
I think the reason it doesn't work on SNL compared to other shows is because of the live format. I think when someone is breaking live, it can really derail things and take you out of a sketch. And also it drags on a bit more. That can be annoying as hell. With a taped segment (ie Carol Burnett Show), it works better…
I remember onetime my brother had accidentally flipped it on SVU during one of its USA marathons. And in the scene (it was one of those cold opens where something unrelated to the plot about 90% of the time) a guy was bitching about his friend who was mooching off him and he took out a cleaver to threaten him to…
Well that makes Jasper's yelling "Stop Singing!" to Garnet put in a whole new light.
