But, it's totally fine that YOU laid a hand on your sister-in-law? If any tween in my family laid a hand on…well, ANYONE, there would be serious consequences.

I think the difference here is that Mindy HAS been involved with his family from even before they started dating. She's basically the reason that Danny now has a relationship with his father and sister. She's helped his mother start a relationship, helped her escape being arrested for theft, and taken her to a doctor

Well, they both remembered the kiss, it's just whether Bay stopped it or not that they remember differently. And, they both remember Bay saying that Emmett was too far and that she giggled when Tank told her she was beautiful. And, again, it comes back to the argument that they had BOTH been drinking and both had

I think that's an unfair way of recounting the events. Bay wasn't blacked out when the sex happened. All Tank saw was that Bay was tipsy, and, let's be honest, almost all sex in college happens between two tipsy people. I'm not saying it's right, but that is the reality. It's incredibly difficult for anyone, let alone

This might seem overly cynical, but from what I've seen in my college years, you just cannot trust your friends when it comes to this. I've seen SO many instances where female friends would leave their almost blacked-out drunk friend by herself. And, I've heard of way too many stories from friends who had a similar

I don't know…the whole Danny constantly calling telling Mindy that she wasn't family and kicking her out 30 seconds after she sat down for dinner really bothered me. Like, it's okay to completely disrespect your girlfriend as long as she's not carrying your child?

I could personally see the show doing either the miscarriage or a genetic disease. In fact, I kind of think it's a bit more likely than having a "normal" baby, because then what's the overarching plot for the next season(s)? Raf and Jane as new parents juggling work and family! Could get sitcom-y and a bit boring.

The 70s? How am I supposed to know about something that happened then? I was born in 1992. - Rishi Lahiri

I think Mindy Kaling has said that TMP would never deal with abortion, because it's not the type of comedy that she knows or wants to do. And, to be totally honest, I don't think that a leading lady on a network comedy could ever get an abortion. I think it would be too much of a risk for the network to take.

One thing I was kind of confused about was, wouldn't Danny also have to do the fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology to work in a fertility clinic? Or are we to assume that he already has some kind of sub-specialization or that they just need a "regular" Ob/gyn?

Yeah, I thought that was weird too because last season, he referred to the girls as his children.

It would totally pass the Bechdel test. Which seems obvious, but unfortunately, I realized that a lot of shows don't.

That speech was awesome. She's an amazing human being. I also loved her "I'm so influential, if you shook my hand, you would get pulled over for a DUI".

I actually called the pregnancy! Partly because of Ausiello's blind item and partly because I read that a future episode has Mindy seeing a nutritionist, and I thought "there's no way she would do that unless…". I'm excited, because I think a pregnant Mindy could be hilarious.

I love that they put in the whole Beverly thinks Mindy is Malala, since that crazy, totally unrealistic scenario actually happened in real life.

He actually did both! Right after getting out of the cab, he shouted "CHICAGO!! THE BIG APPLE".

I really liked the Danny/Morgan plot, but I found the whole "Mindy losing her virginity to Lee Pace" to be a little…lacking. I felt like it could have been a lot funnier, and that New Girl's virginity episode was way better.

I'm a little confused as to why Danny would think that she can't do an 8-month fellowship. She went to the same exact medical school as Danny, which also happens to be one of the best medical schools in the country. And, she moved away from home at 18 to go to Princeton so she's been independent since her teens. I get

Yeah, I agree. And, I totally could have seen Jake inviting Holt during season 1. He's definitely that guy who gossips and complains behind Holt's back, but he's respected and stood up for Holt pretty much from the beginning.

YES! He even said "you were dirty sex that I was too ashamed to tell anyone about". Um, you MARRIED her. Meaning, you actually told everyone about it.
