Apparently they shopped it around to ABC Family first but they turned them down.

Oh I totally agree, I'm sure they will have a little drama there with a little jealousy from a sibling but there's no limit to family as The fosters have already shown, there's plenty of love to go around. It's just that ultimately I suspect Callie will be torn between them and I'm kinda torn between them too in the…

The sister is supposed to be 14 not 11 - two years younger. I can see Bailee as 14, and Maia as 16. The age difference of actor vs character isn't as bad as most teen shows and they can totally pass for that.

I want her with them but Robert Quinn sounds like a pretty solid guy too who wants to provide for her. And she has a younger sister (who is potentially the best sibling cast ever in terms of looks) who wants a big sister… but then she has Jude and everyone else. Yep I can see how you'd have mixed feelings, I'm torn.

I personally think it's better than Bunheads, it came our prior to that show which is why I may be a tad biased but it was more about the actual dancing and teen drama rather than fluffy quirky Gilmore Girlsesque drama.
