Honest-to-goodness mind blown right now. I never once considered that and I hate myself for it because she would be PERFECT for it.

D-d-dahlicious!
Well, Snyder is good at visually cool. In fact, he's so obsessed with visually cool that if you try to pay attention to anything else the film will be ruined for you, and I'm saying this as a fan of 300 and Watchmen (kinda).
I love that there is so much great TV to watch, but I absolutely hate that I don't have nearly enough time to watch it all. Every time I finish bingeing a new series and start to feel ahead of the curve I learn of another half-dozen critically acclaimed TV shows that are just coming out, or have been out on obscure…
It really fucks with me that this is literally what would happen. Not as a joke, not as an exaggerated version, but people would ACTUALLY use this as an argument.
I finally got the chance to watch a bunch of movies I've been wanting to see for a while, and I wasn't disappointed. I saw Hell or High Water, Green Room, and Don't Think Twice back-to-back-to-back; three very different movies, all immensely enjoyable in their own right.
I don't know if acclaimed if the most accurate word, but acknowledged is underselling it. They're not universally praised, no, but the films have had mostly positive reception since Fast Five. I'm not a mega fan or anything, but critics have been enjoying them for a while now. Them's just the facts.
Yeah, I've always been curious what it was that took the movies to that next level. I know a lot of it had to do with them transitioning from street racing movies to, like, a heist film and then stopping terrorists hoping to use x-y-z tech to do evil blahblah, but I'd like to see someone's actual analysis of what made…
Just so you know (because it's worth knowing if you ever want to have a discussion about YouTubers), they make bank if they're popular. There are a lot of variables but people with 18-24 demographics make around $2 per thousand views, so when you're making videos daily that get around/over a million views, well…
I want you to know that I was one of those kids who really liked him in middle and early high school and that I am, in fact, annoyed with myself for having ever enjoyed his stuff.
Holy crap, so it is! I don't check my replies to these comments often, so sorry about the belated reply…but thank you!
I have seen both of these things and feel bad that I'm still unsure who you're referring to.
I think shows like this are about the style more than the content. Not to say the show is insubstantial, but if you like the flow of it you'll be able to find interest in things you otherwise wouldn't, you know? I'd recommend watching the first 20 minutes of the show, it's very stylistically consistent and if you…
"I'm like a head trip to listen to,
'Cause I'm only giving you things you joke about
With your friends inside your living room,
The only difference is I got the balls
To say it in front of y'all
And I don't gotta be false
Or sugar coat it at all."
Am I the only person who thinks he's actually pretty good on the show? Sure, his segments aren't as razor-sharp as the ones on Colbert Report, but he's still a really funny guy and his stuff is high-quality.
Ah, the Hatesong comments section—always bringing out the full-fledged condescension from the line that gets playfully toed in other articles.
