And yet "we" indirectly cause the major plot points. Rye getting run over, Lou getting saved. Maybe it's commentary on society's fascination with massacres and death, and how that feeds into making it worse.

But at this point we don't know if she makes it out alive. Chances are good though. But what about Lou? He has to write up a police report about this!

I'm surprised no one contacted the station if she died, and they would have gotten Lou on the radio. I don't think she's gone, unless they're screwing around with time like they did a few episodes back.

Maybe by actualizing she has realized she's just a character in a TV show and has taken control. Very Matrix-y.
