"Normal" folks? You mean, with a Western worldview and values? You're only comfortable if native characters are coconuts: tree on the outside but white on the inside? Incredibly problematic.

You're probably going to be crippled and set on fire by a Chinese hypersonic missile, then drown. Good luck!!

But it just goes in the sea.

Is it just me, or is it heavily implied that Fischoeder is manipulating events throughout the episode? He shows up with a flimsy excuse about phone reception and warns Bob about Upskirt Kurt, then he "randomly" appears at the dock to tell Bob how to get to the island, then he just happens to be out with his boat. This was good, subtle trolling until you got to the part about knowing in detail what guns they would have. I think that's playing on the stereotype of fans as maniac paedophile shut-ins a little too much. Too "route one".

I actually like the show. It's funny and charming and the animation and music is great. Given the obvious commercial constraints, it's way better than it needs to be. It could certainly support regular reviews. It's just a shame about the "community" and its "interests". Mind you, I also like violent videogames, and

    No, I don't see it.

Also, I find it distasteful that so many commenters are seeking to link MLP fandom with paedophilia in some ill-considered knee-jerk reaction. The very fact that this review is about a high-school themed brand extension of the franchise - aimed at broadening its age range as the upper cohort of the original 5-8 year

If the writer had done her research properly, instead of lazily skimming the IMDB entry, she'd know that Lauren Faust hasn't been involved in the show for a long time. Her IMDB credit is because she created the rebooted series, not because she worked on the film.

Either that or it gets ruined (spooged by Skyler's face mask during more hot fridge sex?) and the money is lost, like in Fargo.
