I think that's certainly fair. The other episodes give a stronger exploration of the characters, for sure. I've enjoyed her breakdowns of the story and the show overall, but you have a point with the need for delegation.

Agreed. It certainly threw me. And the way the scene was juxtaposed with the ceremonies made me think (for some odd reason) that it was all happening at the same place, in Peru. Anyway, you're right in that it was a tad rushed.
My approval of this episode waned until about the final 20 minutes or so. By then I arrived at a calm acceptance of it. :)
Agreed - I think that Sean move was totally self-centered. I don't think he was ever counting on Mary to assert herself, and when she finally did (and even got violent as well), it hit him just who he could potentially be dealing with.
This episode was a surprising turn from episode 7, but certainly enjoyable. I was expecting all hell to break loose, but I really liked the slower pacing to delve into characters and dynamics.
