You're a worse monster than the Demogorgon.

For a moment I thought I was on the CBC site. This Is That made it into the yank media!

"When is the internet?"

April of next year.

To me, this movie wasn't merely terrible. It represents everything wrong with modern culture.

And it took itself waaaaaaaay too seriously. Every moment of the movie was a cringe-inducing "oh my god, we're so deep" echo of pretension from the writers. You could almost hear them masturbating to their self-perceived creative genius.

It was not intelligent at all, it didn't have a solid grasp of the realities of AI nor of corporate environments. It might be believable if you didn't know very much about either. It was all romanticization and no substance, and no, artsy prose is not substance. There was nothing to take away from it.

Doesn't mean you should tolerate it.

That would work on me, at least.

I hated it. Pretentious hipster crap.
