Gonna defend Texas here. As a minority, I never encountered racism despite being raised there.

I think he was making a joke. While you meant you were disgusted nobody tried to stop the racism, context and I guess grammar made it sound like you meant you were disgusted nobody tried to stop your pillow.

"AVC: Let’s talk about your process in a specific example. In one
episode, you had to make a meal for a family of four with only a $10
budget. How do you approach that kind of limitation, which would seem to
prohibit basic stuff like spices or herbs, to say nothing of limiting
your other options?

One time in a script I named a guard something like Cameron Record that the characters went to in order to get security footage. It was a very small role and the guy who gave me notes went crazy over the name. He wasn't sure if I did it on purpose or not (I did). I also named a main character General Justice (well his

You should watch the new X-Men movies and that the latest one pretty much undoes most of X-Men 3 and they are pretty damn great. Like seriously. First Class is IMO the best X-Men movie even though most now consider Days of Future Past to be the best one.

I am of course in. Also Jessica Jones was amazeballs, am loving the best season so far of Agents of SHIELD, Ant-Man was a fun set-up for the character, and Age of Ultron was a pretty great follow-up to the Avengers. At this point, Marvel is my top franchise (although the Force Awakens might allow Star Wars to reclaim

Not American Hustle? Or Silver Linings Playbook? Or the new X-Men movies?

I hope this article is right and she does go Kubrick levels of crazy. We need a new Kubrick.

Huh. I was a '90s kid but I think I technically did see Drake & Josh since it began when I was like 13.

I prefer Coca-Cola (the one made with sugar which is called Mexican Coke for some reason even though actual coke in Mexico now has high fructose corn syrup because it's cheaper is superior but I still like the normal one) more than Pepsi. So, eh. Also I do drink a soft drink every day.

Be proud you have Scott Von Diack. You could have the guy who reviews Agents of SHIELD on a weekly basis. It's that kind of complaint except almost every single week.

I know I'm late to the convo but anyways when Barry's dad started talking about how everyone saw him differently because of the murder trial and he was destroyed but it was Barry that allowed him to rebuild his life…that was some powerful stuff. Like I actually teared up which I've never done with the superhero genre

Preliminary Rankings this week:
1) The Goldbergs (kinda cheated with Cat's in the Cradle so frankly I should just give it a 0 and send it to the principal's office for not playing fair)
2) The Middle
3) Black-Ish (although it's so close with Black-Ish this week I could easily flip them)
4) Modern Family (although it's so

That was a really good show and I'm sad it didn't make it to a second season.

It was nice to see Modern Family is capable of doing a funny episode still even if the season so far has been lackluster. Still over Hayley/Andy and of all the serialized plots, why did they go with Phil's ducks?

Oh and in case anyone missed it: the episode pretty much confirmed Powers Booth was playing the same character as the one in The Avengers. So yay!

I don't think he means for that episode that the review is about but no spoilers for the episodes that follow.

This was a really good episode and I really liked how they brought the current HYDRA plot, the NASA plot, and the ACTU plot together, added wrinkles to Rosalind's relationship with Coulson and the ACTU, moved forward the FitzSimmons relationship, AND made me excited to see next week.

Probably why they haven't had a scene together for what I feel has been forever.

After serious consideration my rankings:
1) The Middle
2) The Goldbergs (hopefully Lucky/Traitor will appear in more episodes)
3) Fresh Off the Boat
4) Black-Ish
5) Modern Family
