I agree, but would they really spring for cable? They are trying to punish him, after all.

"That just doesn’t appear to be the kind of thematic depth to which Arrow aspires"

I think we're going to reach our superhero saturation point in late 2018. By then people will be sick of the MCU formula and the DCTV shows will be winding down to be consistent low hitters with a small, devoted fandom like Supernatural… at which point DCTV will stay on air until they pry it from Stephen and Grant's

I kinda think it's their new plan. Friday night is empty, so it's game on.

I think the relationship was text in season 2 (Oliver's guilt about boffing Isabel specifically related to how it hurt Felicity, showing there was something deeper to their relationship), but I think they needed to burn through the prologue to Laurel's Black Canary, hence why Sara happened. It's a miracle they even

I am a hardcore shipper (but one who prefers character development above shipping), and I just content myself these days that whoever gets married first, Olicity or WestAllen, someone from the other couple will catch the bouquet at the wedding.

I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with Olicity; it's just how the writers use them for contrived drama. The first seven episodes of season 4 were great; one or two featured the Olicity relationship as a B-plotline, but it didn't overwhelm the show like it did after the breakup. As much as I loved the

I'm sure Chase has a puppy in a van ready somewhere.

Sometimes I think the actors know their characters better than the writers, or at least that's how it appears in interviews. Wendy doesn't know what the hell she's talking about, and Marc is most often slightly dismissive or antagonistic.

Someone above predicted it will be Dinah's late lover/partner Vinny. Makes sense.

I agree. We've mostly gotten brief character moments with her, but they've all served to build her relationships with the team organically. When she goes through internal conflict next season, it will be believable for the other characters to be concerned and support her because the foundations for their friendships

OH HER INTERVIEWS ARE THE WORST. Guggenheim's are also pretty bad, but Wendy wins this round.

    Having flashbacks to W.

I think we may need some aloe for that burn.

I'm very selective of the reviews I read, and IGN tends to be Reddit Lite.

You won't get an argument from me. I don't think any show should have more than 16 episodes a season, and if you need longer to tell your story you're doing something wrong. Unfortunately I don't think the CW is willing to drop the bank they make with 23-episode seasons for a higher quality product.

You should see the workout videos with Emily and Stephen. She repeatedly kicks his ass. There was some TRX challenge where Stephen still has to beat Emily's score.

I think it's a good sign if you're able to sympathize with all characters in a conflict. Everyone had various shades of right and wrong (though I think Felicity took on a little too much culpability for the breakup) and the characters were all on the same page, even if it was a bit of an "agree to disagree" situation.

"Colossus of Star City" needs to be a hashtag for Diggle.
