I thought that was an interesting choice to have Raf with Jane when she got the news so that he was the one to catch her when she fell. It could be foreshadowing.

I like Jane and Raf because they both pushed each other's perspectives and challenged each other to be better people. Raf pushed her to go for what she wanted, she pushed him to be better than his parents. I never liked Michael, he often seemed to be talking down to her, or blaming her. She did a lot of apologizing

I read an article a few years ago that said that readers' brains respond to favorite books in the same way a person's brain responds to spending time with close friends. The article was suggesting if you had a stressful day and couldn't get together with friends revisiting a favorite character could have similar

They didn't handle the origin story well, just jumped into the action so you didn't quite know what was going on or why you should care about Constantine. They started with him coming out of a mental hospital and were doing a painfully slow reveal over the weeks regarding why he was in there. That case needed to be

Originally rumor was that Constantine was being shopped around. The casting was well done. It had the wrong creative team, they failed to build the world first so that you cared about Constantine. It was all fixable in different hands. The question is whether the licensing terms and price is right. CW wanted a

I wish they'd go forward now and have it be a May-September series. Comic book superheros all year round.

I think part of the problem in the flashbacks is that he is playing a younger naive version of his character who maybe doesn't have the emotional depth his present day character has. He has shown more emotional depth in the present day scenes.

Don't forget when this episode was made the plan was for the Flash pilot to be an episode of Arrow. It was after these two episodes came out so well that Flash was given its own pilot. So when this was written it probably was intended to be the actual transition moment. Whether it remains that way, who knows. I

Yes, but Merlyn is alive and he knows Ollie is Arrow, and he told the League (Arrow said the League knew who he was a few weeks ago when they attacked in the mansion.) I just wonder if the Count told Brother Blood.

When things are that unbelievable there is usually a reason. Merlyn knows Ollie is Arrow. He knows Tommy saw Laurel with Oliver and despite that Tommy died trying to save Laurel. I think Merlyn used his connection to get Laurel assigned to the case and then removed the lead counsel so she would take the loss. I

If they kill Thea daddy Merlyn will resurrect her. That could be how she gets Speedy powers. I hope Moira is the next to die permanently. She is not a sympathetic character, and if they are moving the story lines to tie in to Ollie/Green Arrow she really doesn't fit long term. She won't be a crime fighter and he's
