"I can throw a pig skin a quarter mile." Fun fact: He was also in Alice in Chains music video for "Rooster."

I guarantee this is the exact inner monologue if were privy to that!

I enjoyed the episode even though it was a lot being thrown at me. This show compared to Tyrant doesn't insult my intelligence as much. I'm looking forward to how all the storylines presented in tonight's episode resolve and connect. I'm looking forward to Linder's reappearance; although, like Hank I have reservations

Your "everyone is the protagonist in their own story" hit the nail on the head. Hopefully the show can figure this out too.

Oh we can talk about the The Bridge. I am so excited! I thought season 1 was great, but the commercials look promising for an epic second season!

Exactly. If maybe in future episodes the treatment of gays in Arab countries is shown (accurately), then there is a point to the scenes now. I feel; though, that the scenes are just "shock value" and nothing interesting will come of the two characters.

Am I the only one that doesn't give two hoots about the gay son subplot? I honestly think if gay scenes, talk, etc., fit the show then more power to the showrunners. I just think this particular scenario is being handled quite clumsily.

Wow, enacting Godwin's law so quickly?

I expect that other members at the "round table" will conceive plots to have Barry killed as he is in direct contrast with what they believe are the best actions to take in an unstable country.

A better episode, but Jamal releasing prisoners seemed highly improbable given there was no criticism from the other government officials. Maybe we will see that play out in next week's episode. The General in particular will not relinquish his power easily in favor of Barry's recommendations.

I'm not quite sure how I will/am feeling about that. I sometimes like the villains to remain villains and for there to be no sympathy.

It's the fact that after 19 years together, you'd think she'd have learned he didn't want to talk about it. A little internet snooping could have quelled her curiosities. Also, the questions she asks are not of a 19-year relationship, but a 5th date getting-to-know-one-another thing. She wasn't a bitch, but it was

Yeah, I (she) know! I just happen to think the Reposted Daily Mail Comments user is awesome for showing the idiocy of the Daily Mail.

Exactly! So far they've proved to be mostly awful people, a accurate stereotype, IMO.

Thank you! That was going to drive me crazy!

I think shows should differentiate in the warnings between sexual situations and sexual violence.

Same here. I can often deal with some clichés, but this one is seems to be poorly written too.

What movie is your avatar from? I know I've seen it, but I just can't remember.

Granted I wasn't asked for my opinion, but she's a walking cliché.

I almost thought it was a reference to Argo which used that song heavily in the trailers and teasers. I think I might be analyzing too much.
