That's good to hear. I always give some slack to most show's first season.

Yes, I entertained that too. The bar symbols very well could have been the impetus for his universal language. Plus, knowing who ran that bar, improved communication would be a vast improvement.

Seconded! I think Kristen Dunst and Patrick Wilson are up for awards (at the Globes), but the entire cast, creators, crew, everyone, should get recognition for such a stellar season.

Interesting. There was some WSJ article that mentioned Esperanto and the 1970's so my brain immediately went there.

Something that still stands out to me, especially after Hank's speech tonight is the bar in which Hanzee entered, Hank's symbols were on the ceiling trim (if it can be called that). Was he maybe drinking there so often after his wife's death that he thinks he came up with them? That's what I'm thinking. Doesn't matter

I haven't yet watched that show, planning on it. I did see that next season will be its last. Was it an uneven season? I've heard plenty of praise.

That's what made me kind of laugh about Mike's situation. I do think that no matter if he had done a good job, bad job, indifferent, or got killed that would have been his lot, nonetheless.

Well, I guess that answered my question about the possibility of viewing.

    Is the movie good?

Their conversation prior to him officially croacking was hard to take. Although, I'm not sure Peggy has learned anything after her venting with Lou.

I couldn't have stared at the screen any harder! I think I saw Peggy's outline, or that's what my brain has convinced me of.

I honestly thought it was a Esperanto nod, since IIRC that was invented/suggested in the late 70's. Although words not pictures.

It wasn't how I imagined the season would end, but it met all my expectations and then some. This is has been one of the best seasons in TV show history.

It would have to be the rise AND fall of those two.

    Exactly! ;)

She could be actually flying if she'd wait for them to abduct her!

The optometrist irony was not lost on me!

Am I a bad person if I'm not sorry the guy ate it?

    *boom*
    Mind blown!

Cops always want the big kahuna, aka Mike Milligan. For some reason any Mob always seems to trump a psychotic single person. Plus, commendations come w/ Mob busts.
