    Good point.

At first I didn't like the characters nor did I understand their place in the Fargo universe. I like how their story resolved and they added even more philosophical musings to the show.

Yes it was. Him and his wife were in Lou's restaurant as well.

    Now that was satisfying.

The rumor seems to be it's an anthology series. This season was like a mini-series. New characters next season. Although, the jury is still out on if this gets renewed or what is exactly happening with it.

When I heard the movie was being made into a series, I seriously had my doubts. I'm glad I watched the first episode. This is my favorite new show this year (and possibly in a long time).

I think they'd have to end up marketing them as turds.

I figure it this way: All the tapes were connected, the cases solved. Lester immediately ran after he realized Malvo left. Therefore Molly was not able to catch him. Gus didn't take that away from Molly by handing her the tapes.

I noticed that too. I was afraid the camera would pan back behind the firewood pile and we would see a wood chipper. I'm glad that's not what happened; too on the nose for my taste. A nice nod all the same.

I think that might be one of my favorites scenes from this series. He finally realized Molly deserved the position; was right all along about Lester; and that he was not fit for this position.

That would have been too one the nose.

That's what I like about the Coen brothers and this Coen-esque universe. It mirrors real life more. The bad guys sometimes escape and win in some capacity. You are denied closure. Good and evil always exist together.

Maybe that instead of the case of money will be the link between seasons.

I was so nervous for Gus the entire time. I keep wondering why he hadn't called Molly yet, but he knew exactly what he was doing. Malvo couldn't rot in jail, he needed to be killed.

Oh maybe. I flinched when he straightened out his leg, that was gross.

I think the show more as a whole is that good balances out evil. Where one exists as well does the other. I would have liked Molly to get to cuff Lester or kill him (more the latter). It more closely resembles life; where you may not get your man, but someone or something else might.

I loved the shot of his face right before he fell into the frozen lake.

Yes, I believe it's a anthology series. All the better in my opinion. There hasn't been much word as of late. I hope FX realizes the brilliance of this show.

I agree that he wasn't armed, but Gus and everyone here knows that Malvo needed to die. Simple as that. So, I'm willing to take Gus shooting a unarmed demon.

I'd have to agree. This episode was aces! Ha-ha! Last episode was the penultimate, in my opinion.
