I'm convinced Joe is a sociopath. Albeit, a good-looking, charismatic one (then aren't they all).

Yes! Why didn't I think of that. At least Lee's don't have a mind of their own. Bodgan's were competing for real estate on his face.

I agree. Often show's first seasons are clunky. You have to learn to walk before you can run.

I think the reviewer may have jumped the shark with their assertion that Joe's mystery is DOA. I knew his scar story was a sham, but I'm still invested to see what the hell happened at IBM and if Joe might be an actual sociopath.

Ha-ha! My inner monologue during this episode was "Lee Pace needs to win some kind of award for his perfectly manicured, lovely caterpillar eyebrows."

She was giving Anne Hathaway a run for her money.

While reading the review, I kept thinking I wasn't analyzing this show strongly enough since I did enjoy the episode. Oh well.

I liked the episode. It didn't match the suspense and mystery in the first episode, but I'm willing to stick around to see what happens to the characters. The writing may be slightly clunky, but the acting saves it. I did like Gordon's renewed sense of self, singing along in the car.

That braid had been bugging me since the first time we met Major André. It seems it was a liberty (no pun intended) taken by the costume and production department. While braids within wigs were fashionable during this period, Major André's deviates from the norm with it being not attached to a wig and extremely slim

"Five Minutes of Heaven" was a really good movie. I was surprised it was so glossed over in the media since Liam Neeson plays a main character. I didn't know he directed "Diana," although I've heard it was pretty bad from a lot of people.

Well, as long as Ben will be stripped of his stuffy clothing I'm okay with it.

Well, this will be good set-up for season 2. Also, Selah had to watch her rush into Abe's arms on shore, how did he not shoot him?

That movie was nominated for an Oscar. Not that I'm upset he's directing this, but you'd think he would have had other prospects considering the success and parodies of the film.

I kinda mumbled "bitch" when she did that.

The show would have to go to Skinemax.

Their reconciliation might be in jeopardy considering Anna literally jumped ship. Poor Selah, after all he's been through.

He seriously directed that! I love that movie, the best Hitler (er — acting wise) ever. Well, glad he can direct this show.

Happy with the season finale and look forward to season 2. Mary really complicated things. How is Abe going to tell Ben he lost the book and then how is Ben supposed to ask for another from Gen. Washington? Also, does no one feel bad for Selah?

That was cold. Still feel bad though.

Ha-ha! I probably shouldn't laugh at that. My investment for character(s) tank is close to full.
