I have the rest of the night to post 607 times so I can get to 5000.

Since this seems to be the farewell post (though I'll probably be sitting on my ass here for the rest of the night), if anyone wants to talk to me, I go by ghostsintowers on most social media ish things (gmail, twitter though I don't use that much, instagram though I don't use that much, tumblr though I don't really…

Man, this is a really slow news day. The beginning of the end and this is what you have to give us?

We were only going to get 60%ish coverage, I think, so I was hoping for it to feel like the evening.

If this was a Game of Thrones spoiler, I am going to be QUITE pissed.

I have a friend moving to Scottsdale. Please tell me he will hate it there.

You have a job that lets you watch Netflix at work?

I mean, I guess I "saw" it in Austin, but it just looked like the sun. I didn't have eclipse glasses but I thought I'd still be able to see the moon in front of it at a glance, and nope. It got a little darker, like it was a little cloudy, for a little while.

He's a Basenji mix according to the rescue I got him from, though he barks.

People were impatient during the original series too. I think he's remarkably in touch with his viewers for such a weirdo.

No, an old video game. I'm not completely gross.

You're right. As someone who glanced at the sun several times yesterday, I'm just irritated by the smugness of the chortling masses who seem to think your face will melt off the instant some sun gets in your eyes.

It can actually only take a few seconds to do damage to your eyes, but the quick glance Trump gave it is highly unlikely to do anything.

As much as i hate to defend Trump, I think freaking out about a glance at the sun is dumber than just glancing at the sun.

I thought about driving to a totality area but it would have been a 12 hour drive one way and I've been having car problems. And with the next one in 7 years it just wasn't worth the risk.

Well he is a clown.

Most of my comfort / junk food is stuff i ate as a kid and my parents just never bought twinkies so i never craved them and didn't care until suddenly they were no longer available and i felt like i had missed out on a common American experience.

I mean, i hate Trump, but has this ever happened? I can't remember ever justifying my actions as a child by pointing to a politician.

Considering…

That's a difficult question. I think "airing dirty laundry" in the interest of hurting your ex is shitty, but i recognize it as the actions of a hurting person who maybe isn't their best selves at that moment.
