I'd rather complain. You can ignore me.

Except if you criticize said universal property, they'll spend two days arguing with you pissily on the internet

And at the end of the day, you're defending man children and I'm expressing mild annoyance with man children.

The game involves going back and forth in time, which I find typically pretty tedious and keeps the world feeling really closed off. Going back to the beginning, Dragon Quest has always had locked areas, but they still retained this open world exploration feel and this obliterates that, especially since the present

They can. I can also complain about it.

I can appreciate the (relative) darkness of some of the vignettes, but the structure of the game is pissing me off big time. I think it's easily my least favorite due to that.

Or if adults are simple minded enough.

Hey thanks. These all sounds great! So i will see if i can track them down.

Whoops

Well it is buried on an ancient Indian burial ground… maybe that drives down the price.

I've been sick so I've played an embarrassing amount of Dragon Quest VII, mostly leveling up vocations like a boss, etc, but now I'm about ready to be done, despite still having a ways to go in the game, i think.

Still intended for kids with the simple storytelling, life lessons, and archetypal characters to match.

"Used your toothbrush. It was an emergency"

Same with Harry Potter… still a kids book.

But it's exactly these sorts of reactions to a silly kids movie that makes me rail against the franchise so hard.

Much more popular than what? Than me? Get outta here.

My complaints mostly focus on how much I have to hear about Star Wars compared to how much I care about Star Wars.

We can accept it and still complain about it, right?

Wow, that actually seems like a pretty affordable price.

Architecture is one of those languages I just don't speak. Are there any intro books or anything you could recommend to clue me in?
