Of course giving a win over to someone like Braun is exactly why they should be employing Bork Laser at this point. He needs to win most of his feuds, of course, but so that when a guy like Strowman steps up and beats him, it means something.

I'm not a big fan of every parting (other than Martha's) being a big world shattering event for the Doctor. I was always a fan of how they handled Jo leaving. The Doctor was obviously very sad to see her go but then stoically moved on. It feels kind of unnatural that more companions don't just choose to move on like…

Which is maybe why they chose to introduce her on this episode?

Bill is the Rani. So is Heather. So is every other female character on the show. You should know that by now!

There were a lot of questions raised about exactly who the Doctor is or what his nature is with the suggestion that The Doctor might be the reincarnation of The Other, one of the three founders of Time Lord society along with Rassilon and Omega.

She was already loud and had occasional access to a time machine. I suppose she could have been angrier.

It would be so easy to eventually bring in a regenerated Susan or even bring back a 76 year old Carole Ann Ford to reprise the role.

But we also have Nardole who is neither.

Capaldi's announcement and showing regeneration energy in the season trailer make it obvious that 12 is counting down his final days. I'm thinking a team up of two Masters should be the cause of his demise.

As much as I loved some of the callbacks (Susan! The Movellans!), the detour to Dalek country felt a bit unnecessary. The Doctor's plan was seriously "let's get her in the crossfire of a Dalek and hope that kills her."

I'm really excited for this. I read the book last summer and my wife is currently reading it.

And because of awful booking, Naomi and Becky are the only two with clear roles as faces. Is Carmella a heel? Natalya? Tamina?

We really need to place the proper focus on where it should be with this whole Superstar Shakeup - Curt Hawkins. Raw will never be the same again.

At this point I'd prefer to see the New Day as more of a stable than just as a tag team. People tend to only remember the Freebirds for their tag titles and the accompanying rule, but they all wrestled a ton of singles matches, especially in WCCW.
