Mine was pretty brutal, although only four had rated me. The two that liked me said I was super easy and the two that hated me seemed to be describing someone else.

It took me a while to train myself to serve a smaller initial portion and then to also wait for a while to see if I actually was still hungry before getting up for seconds.

My son has inherited a bit of that from me, I think. He also has some attention issues so we try to keep him active and he takes melatonin as well for sleep.

My left calf is almost perpetually sore from running. I wear a compression sleeve a lot. I wonder what they have backwise?

Last semester my students and I were discussing a speech by Malcolm X. There was one African American student in the class and other students kept turning to her to gauge reactions about what others were saying.

Very cool. My main running goals this year are 1000 total miles and doing my first marathon.

Nice! Keep it up.

We were supposed to get rain yesterday but nothing came of it. The wind hasn't been too crazy either.

I've had sleep issues for years, mostly related to having a "noisy brain" at night. I make a big point on my syllabi of saying "college is a place where you will be confronted with ideas and beliefs that conflict with your own. I don't care if you change your mind on the issues you come across, but part of being a critical thinker is listening and if you disagree, articulating why. This can all be

I grilled some pork chops the other night with a coffee based rub on them. Good stuff. We also made a quinoa based salad with grilled bell peppers, wilted spinach, feta, and cucumbers to go with the chops.

I remember when Obama won in 2008 Keith Olbermann was questioning whether or not the GOP could even still be considered a major political party, which was stupid hyperbole. This year, though, I'll be really curious to see if there's at least some sort of temporary split within the party to try and prevent Trump from
