That had to play well on the locker room. "My dad played a famous tv pimp."

The son of the guy who played Huggy Bear was a running back for the Raiders for a number of years. Every time they mentioned who his dad was during football games I wondered why they never mentioned his appearances at the Cable Ace Awards.

A friend of mine introduced me to it and I started that way. Our local comic shop often hosts tournaments, but from what I gather they're mostly friendly and they'll help out newcomers.

Yeah, it was better than the other two. I think part of the Ladykillers problem was how much time they spent in the house, which was always kind of dark. The Coen brothers do much better visually with color and contrast. It was one of their uglier looking films.

I'll maybe pursue him next him. Either that or Cassandra. Josephine mainly seems like all you need to do is let her vent.

Yeah, it was odd. One minute he's all "I admire you," the next it's "maybe we're too different to really fall in love" or something.

Ladykillers, while far from their best work, did at least have me laughing a lot, so I guess there's that. In general, though, I find their films after <oh brother,="" where="" art="" thou?<="" i=""> and No Country for Old Men to be their weaker output. I'd also include Burn After Reading. To be fair, though, I didn't

I enjoy football, but I just didn't really care that much about this game. Besides, my wife's friend offered to watch the kids, so we got to go out for a rare date night.

I definitely preferred it to their more recent comedies. Their low point for me is Intolerable Cruelty.

And the comic relief, pie stealing drunk was amazing.

What I enjoyed about it was that most films about Hollywood end up being very self-indulgent or are too packed with insider stuff. This avoided the usual traps.

I follow San Diego sports teams, with the exception of being a Colorado Avalanche fan. I've long ago accepted my football and baseball teams will never win their respective championships.

Or in answer to the query "Professor, what's another word for pirate treasure?"

Harris, eh? New man?

I decided to break things off with Blackwall and go for Sera. She and my dwarf seem quite happy.

"No Dames!" and the whole scene from "Ol' Lazy Moon" were fantastic.

Nope, no booty. The wife is getting over being sick.

I saw a lot of meme's floating around yesterday about not caring about the game or sports in general. If one doesn't care, then why bother mentioning it?

My wife just looked at me last week when I screamed "Black Mercy!" as if after almost 19 years as a couple, it finally dawned on her how deep the levels of my comic geekdom went.

And the way she just drones on an on.
