Maybe I need to go back and rewatch season five but this was my favorite modern season of the show. Some episodes were better than others but I didn't find any were real missteps.

I've always assumed keeping the actors in the dark so to speak was intentional. I think he got a more earnest performance out of people that way.

I haven't seen the Rifftrax version of it but it feels to me like making fun of a very self-aware satire is kind of missing the point. I'm also an unashamed fan. I love that movie.
