As much as I disliked these final seasons of SOA, I really liked that ending. It was nice to see Jax go out on his own terms. It was the Jax from the first three seasons - the Jax that made me love the show.

I was hoping Gemma's demise would be something a little more…medieval.

Even the scene where Juice talks with Unser and the Sheriff was very well written I thought. Hopefully Theo Rossi gets some decent work after Sons because he has been pretty great.
