oh man, I love that movie! So excited to see another one from the cast appear on my tv.

It's also fun when someone who has a manual Japanese car tries to figure out how to do reverse in a manual German car (VW golf R here). I've had mine for 4 years, and I still double-check every time to make sure I'm in reverse.

oh my goodness. Ayoade would just be an endless delight.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought they were made up.

but…but…I wanted to look at Scott Eastwood :(

Same here! I started watching the show on Saturday and am thoroughly addicted.

In addition to talking about one patient to another patient, I'm fairly certain that if a counselor is meeting with one spouse, they aren't supposed to also counsel the other spouse unless they were both present and it was marital counseling. Any couples I know that have had separate counseling, they had totally

The first thing I thought when I saw her on-screen was "my word! she's her mother's clone!" which isn't a bad thing. I can only hope I age as gracefully.

Well, yes, I thought it was pretty clear that the documentary was going to be more on the side of Avery and his family given it started with Avery being falsely imprisoned due to the law enforcement in the area disliking him. Beyond that, from what I understand, the prosecution refused to participate in the

and less Robin…or no Robin at all.

haha! ah, Michael W Smith. The culprit for that church's banning was Steven Curtis Chapman (whose songs were basically hymns to a slightly faster beat). Good times, indeed.

Fun fact: my childhood church played Christian rock music. This caused it to be blacklisted by the school I attended. The school's reasoning was "while the message is good, one can't possibly worship to something with that kind of beat."

I've always considered it the Dances with Wolves of science fiction. (not a compliment)

My social media breaks are becoming longer & longer thanks to that sort of fatigue. How do people have the energy to be so upset all the time?!

Saw on Netflix today that Season 4 arrives Dec 30th. (yay)

Thanks! I had a feeling that would be the case. I've heard that the books have more of a sci-fi feel (it seemed to be mainly hinted at in the show). I kinda hope they own up more to that in the 2nd season.

In the ensuing seconds after I finished this season, my main thought was "eh?" I was a bit at a loss. Not necessarily in a bad way but a "I don't know where this show is going" way.

All depends on what you prefer and don't prefer of course, but IMO, the pros were several of the secondary characters and primarily the world-building. I am absolutely fascinated by this premise.
The cons: the main characters are pretty blah many times with some storylines that don't make me really want to root for

Precisely my thought. Besides, if a longer wait means a quality season like we all just witnessed, it's more than worth it.

Hmm. This sounds like they are teasing the audience with the promise of Alice (since she's awesome), but then will go in another direction? I've a feeling it'll be like the last two seasons where she just kind of popped in at the end just to remind us how much better it is when she is on the show.
