Actually Paul got divorced last year… =(

Back around the Mono/Stereo days in 2001, Paul had said he had plans for he and Tommy to "finish Buddy Holly's tour" of the Midwest..Axl effectively killed those plans, by calling Tommy back for Chinese Democracy stuff. It's a damn shame, but I totally get it. Tommy's making a killing playing with GnR.

If I'm guessing, Axl probably wants to tour again and that's where Tommy really makes his money.

Chris Mars is retired and basically gave them permission to use the name. According to Tommy, Paul was willing to tour under his own name until Chris insisted. And of course, the whole thing was brought about by Slim's health problems. I think it's kind of sweet.

I always thought it was Paul trying to sound like R.E.M (just like Stink was the Mat's trying to sound like hardcore peers). Either way…I think it's their worst record.

Yep…I actually really enjoy Pearl Jam…but their modern day fans are the absolute worst.

Considering it's basically the Paul and Tommy show these days, I don't understand the infighting.
