Random thought: Why do Christy and Bonnie still sleep in the same bed when Roscoe's bed is empty most of the time?
Favorite line from last night: Evil comes in all shapes and sizes, even pixie.
Wendy is a Mensa member ("We mostly do puzzles.")

I shudder when Christine Baranski is on this show, not so much because of the actress but because I hate Beverly so much. She is verbally abusive to her son, and its been established that she was a neglectful parent while he was growing up. I'd love to see Leonard actually tell Beverly that she won't be welcome

The Dixie Chicks are cool.

When this show ran, I didn't know the two young leads, and I watched it for Luke from Gilmore Girls and the best friend from Caroline in the City playing the parents. Soon the teen stuff was more appealing to me than the veteran actor's stuff. I really liked it, and was happy to see the leads on Cougar Town and

The bruises looked so real, I cringed. And Robbie falling for Nadia worries me. She put Nick out of commission for almost a season!

I never really thought John Noble and Jonny Lee Miller looked much alike, especially cast as father and son. In their face-off this episode, they made rubber band mouth faces at each other, and I finally saw the resemblance.

Stuart used to be close to Raj, but when he got together with Howard's mom Howard's hostility seems to have infected the whole circle. I really hate how mean they are to him.

all of these guys are so mean to Stuart…who stood up for himself by denying them bathroom access at his store. That's right, hit em with the big guns.

Peterssen is still the handsomest man in rock n' roll

Lucy Punch was playing Minnie Driver in About a Boy. BTW, it would have been great to actually have a Driver/Walton reunion on this episode.

there is continuity, but (as noted above) its "parceled out". Thus, we get a mention of Trent moving back in several episodes after we saw him in his flower shop.

Another thing I like about this show is that it assumes that the audience with either be knowledgeable about history/mythology, or will be willing to research it. Using the Orpheus myth, or the history of the American national anthem, I more challenging than the usual bang bang detective show.

Yes, Irving was leagues better than Reynolds. I do have to say, though, that I enjoyed Reynolds' "He's not normal" question about Crane.

I've been rereading Edith Wharton's The Custom of the Country, and I've been trying to visualize Undine. I picture her best as a Barefoot in the Park era Jane Fonda.

He looks pretty. So very pretty.

Crane is very specific about his baked goods.

Whatever you might say of Abbie, wooden just doesn't fit. She brings a lot of energy to her performance. I think that she just seems more rigid next to Jennie because Jennie operates outside the rules, and Abbie operates within them.

Nick, looking for an exit to the left, enters the shower. Perfect.

why does it sound so much cheesier to me when someone says "eVILLE" as opposed to "Evil"? When Crane said it in this episode, I almost laughed.

When the electricity went out, the gas range went out too. This would not happen. Also, never turn on all of your burners and leave the room. We were convinced that the episode would end with the building burning down. These people are idiots.
Its a good thing that the AC didn't fall on the cat, or Nick would die
