yeah, the green screen in Tom Thumb was pretty good…I bought into the fantasy of a miniature Russ Tamblyn for the whole movie. A better tiny man movie, though, was The Incredible Shrinking Man. The fight between man and spider…oy veh!

the only thing missing from that was little animated valentine hearts floating around Holt's head. very cute.
That "engorged" bit made me snicker A LOT.
When the gang leader said he wanted to share I cell with the murderer, the look on his face made me shiver. So scary.
At first I thought the show was doing the old cliche of lesbians as male fantasy. When I figured out that Schmidt was acting out of jealousy instead of lust, I was much more impressed.
The original Invisible Man with Claude Rains is EXCELLENT. All of the jokers making fun of this post should check it out.
Betsy Ross just doesn't work as a character, even though she gets some words of wisdom here. I kind of resented the show changing Nathan Hale's sacrifice to the revolutionaries deciding to sacrifice him, but his famous quote still brought a lump to my throat.
agreed
Yes. Rosie O'Donnell has really changed her appearance since she was so ill. She really sold the unlucky in love lady. I was impressed.
If Omundson and Andre Braugher aren't front and center at the next Emmy awards, there is no justice.
not to mention his almost murder that set off his relapse
still my favorite apocalypse film: Last Night starring Sandra Oh.
I watched the beginning and the end—-skipped over to PBS to find out (SPOILER ALERT) that Bill Hader is descended from Charlemagne (!!!) Turned back in time to see Nick and Schmidt advising Brendon on which of Jess' dresses look best. A good night of TV viewing.
The apartment story line is so old it creaks. I did like the other two subplots however, and Holt in the spotlight is always a good thing.
The Death song and dance reminded me strongly of the end of the movie "All That Jazz". I don't know if it was a deliberate homage like the other songs mentioned.
It has to be very difficult for actors to play a lap dance scene without showing embarrassment, and even more difficult to discuss international spy craft while doing so. Kudos to the actress playing the undercover spy, who kept grinding against JLM all the while.
that was my reaction—all she had to say to get out of jury duty was "the
or at least cast someone who looks like a twenty years older Anthony Head, who we saw in a childhood flashback last time.
Take a moment to appreciate Michael O'Keefe, who was very effective in a small part. He's come along way since Caddyshack.
Its because he didn't use his own accent, and sounded convincingly American. Miller uses his own accent here (but he can sound different—he does really good Scots and American voices,)
Raj and the stripper pole redeemed what I thought was a blah episode.
