For Preacher, HBO or GTFO.

That scene did seem weird to me. I'm from northern England and we quite simply do not have cockroaches. Then I realised I was watching a wizard force a demon out of a woman's body and that I might have to put up with some fantastical plot elements.

We can only hope Constantine doesn't turn into a misogynistic walking hard-on like Harry Dresden.

Right? What if the impressionable kids obviously watching this adaptation of a 1980's comic book decide to spark up now? Just let the fucking man smoke, NBC.

He doesn't smoke either (but seemed to be stubbing one out in the bar scene), which is the silliest change to his character. Nitpicky? A bit, but his smoking leads to the best arc of the comics by far.

I'm from northern England, and Constantine's accent was a mish-mash too — a bit of Liverpudlian and the occasional hint of Irish slipped into a generic northern accent. I mean it doesn't sound fake or anything (the actor's Welsh, I believe, so he'd be familiar enough with regional English accents), but it's not quite

A completely non-lethal ghost option was always my option too, with the exception of the woman at the ball. The fucked up thing about that game is that non-lethal options are frequently worse than death, and hers — death or what seemed to amount to a lifetime of rape — was a bit beyond the pale for me. Given those two

I just got to the medical facility, and I have to say, I too have spent a fair amount of time cowering in lockers. Mostly because I'm fucking terrified and every time I check my motion detector, that bastard is erratically swooping around in a way that makes me think it'll be back any second.

Having read the books, I disagree that they are better. The show is better.

And with Alexander Siddig as Doran Martell, GoT continues its proud tradition of casting actors far more attractive than the characters they are playing.

That's big of you.

Agree completely on both counts, but particularly Gary Sinise as Stu.

And only one actor from Oz at any time. RIP Miguel Governorhenchstooge.

Much like Gareth and Bob, we got off on the wrong foot.

Unless Hannibal is the chef. He could make dog shit look appetizing.

Bob's an old hand at getting legless, so I'm sure he'll take it in his stride.

Daryl remembers! Her sister's too busy coming to terms with Writer-Induced Personality Loss to remember.

That guy was eminently killable before he threatened Judith. So what, Tyreese just punched the shit out of him and then was like 'no hard feelings, bye then'?

It looked like an inverted 'L'. Some weird Hunters calling card?

How hard did they hit Bob that he was unconscious for the amount of time it took to move him, amputate his leg, dress the wound and cook the whole thing? Not hard enough to kill him, apparently.
