Presumably they're "Reptilia [something] [something] Homo Reptilicus." I don't think there are any rules against having two separate genuses named the same. It's like how every folder on your computer could have a file named "config" without issue.

I support this. Cookie Monster for Doctor. Search for the time cookie and help Crazy Dave find his taco.

The difference between RTD's usual stuff and Midnight and this season and the previous ones is the focus on characters and psychology vs the scifi and action. The most well liked episodes are also the ones that do both things pretty well: Dalek, The Girl in the Fireplace, and Fires of Pompeii, for instance.

I don't think that's a problem with the script so much as a problem with your understanding of human responses to duress.

Those suggestions are equally silly, I find.

I think this was the first time we got some confirmation toward any self-loathing. I wouldn't even say it was hinted at so far, so I wouldn't expect people to catch the twist on that grounds alone.

I was expecting Mr. Mxyzptlk, myself.

I feel the episode would have ended on a better note if the Doctor had said something like "I know another planet." They thought of themselves as refugees and were just trying to survive. The Doctor seemed extremely out of character in this episode. He had a flimsy reason for not helping the "vampires" after he was

I guess this episode explains why Captain Jack couldn't die: too much Lazarus Pit exposure.

This episode is the very definition of good sci-fi. Despite all the fantastic elements, it still serves to examine something human. The alien isn't the plot. It's the catalyst.

I see where you're coming from, but without any sort of clarification, there's room for interpretation. :I

"I tire of nakedness" was said by the Queen in the werewolf episode. Rose was referred to as the "naked girl" a few times. It's the only thing about that episode I remember.

The idea of her giving birth to the kittens never crossed my mind when I watched this episode. I assumed that they were just two people who otherwise could not have any of their own treating pets as surrogate children.

"Obfuscating Stupidity" is the closest I can think of.

I'm not certain it would even reach that point. Before a court would consider the ramifications of de-aging, they'd need proof that it was even the same guy. Two testimonies and some lab animal results might not constitute that.

The way the music swelled when Harmon went on the balcony, I half expect him to start singing like he was in a Disney film or some tragic opera.

There was a quote in this episode along the lines of "The league needed to be dismantled from the inside." Supposedly that was the reason… however justified it may be. The real reason is that the writers needed some conflict and tried to strong arm a poorly planned idea.

And it's not like we wouldn't have the lead present. It would have been a great time to double up a bit on the flashbacks. Have Akio die, then introduce the lazarus pit and actually explain why Maseo is in the League. Then cue present Ollie being revived.

Probably a shrinky wave and not a fireball.

"…No offense."
