Season 9's MOTWs stack up decently well against most earlier MOTWs, IMHO. If "4-D" had Mulder and Scully in it instead of Doggett and Reyes, it would be considered a classic.

No one actually dies on this show, duh. Krycek died like ten times. Mulder also died like five times.

Nah. The only good things this movie had was Skinner's all-too-brief appearance and the closing credits scene with Mulder and Scully floating away to a deserted island. Which is where I hoped the new series would pick up but alas, it's not meant to be.

Agreed. Vince Gilligan and Frank Spotnitz always wrote their more intimate scenes incredibly well. CC…notsomuch.

So excited for the Darin Morgan episode. SO. EXCITED.

Yeeeeeeah. It seems like he got super-lucky with XF because he had a killer team of writers. The strongest episodes were always the Vince Gillian and Morgan & Wong MOTWs, not necessarily the CC mythology episodes.

Pedo ex-priest, Russian scientists, bearded Mulder, me screaming "SKINNER!!!!" in delight at the screen when he finally showed up, that's all I can remember about that plot.

Uhhhh…reading the early reviews of the first episode and knowing how badly the second movie was bungled*, I don't trust Chris Carter with another series or movie. Unless St. Vince Gilligan is involved, don't do it.

Awww man, Kirk Fogg was my second TV crush. Now he just looks like an old man :-(

TOOMS! FLUKEMAN! GUYS I AM SO EXCITED.

"Wait For It" is just a great song, period. To me, it's a tossup between that and "The Room Where It Happens" which brought the house down when I saw the show.

But what "Hamilton" song is he going to cover on this tour?

These are wise words, enterprising men quote 'em
DON'T ACT SURPRISED, YOU GUYS, CUZ I WROTE 'EM

DUDE. Aaron Burr is so interesting to me. Ridiculously smart, believed in gender equality well before it was fashionable, fantastic lawyer but too wrapped up in his lust for power and resentment of Hamilton that he blew any chance he had of becoming another legendary founding father. He's the most fascinating case of

He's avoid Christie as much as possible.

His kid is training for the Olympics, the gaps in the schedule in the past have been for horsey shows/bougie events.

I think the composition book that held them may have been lost in one of my moves over the years, but now I'm inspired to dig for it. Will report back.

I actually flailed at "I'm Special Agent Dana Scully, this is Special Agent Fox Mulder." Eeeeee!!

Oh my GOD I hated Diana so much. I was a 12-year-old baby shipper and wrote lots of bad fanfic that included terrible ways for her to die. I was also annoyed when Mimi Rogers got in the middle of Stan and Peggy last season on "Mad Men" and I flashed back to Diana Fowley. I probably needed help.
