I was a bit in love with Denny Duquette, as I imagine a lot of people were. I was disappointed when I saw JDM in other shows because he was nothing like Denny. This guy, though. The flirty charisma is back. I could imagine this being an alternate universe where Denny survived and now he's working as a PI.

I was thinking she said "I know" because he seemed to be having such an incredibly difficult time telling her. But now that you said this, I think it would have worked just as well if she had said "I know" after he said the words.

Going back to the previous episode, when this was all shown from Meredith's POV, I don't get why Bailey said she shouldn't panic until 5 pm. Why wait until 5 pm? He didn't show up for his meeting and had been out of contact since leaving the highway for some shortcut in an alternate universe; something's obviously…
