    So…misogyny?

Oh god, I hope they never do this, the showrunners have to be smarter here than to have a Moonlighting moment.

Beth doesn't owe him a thing, they're divorced. I cannot think of much of a worse situation than suggesting someone get grief counseling from an ex, and one fairly new to the job at that.

Albert and Constance. what a quirky flirtation that was. Loved it.

"The Doctor exposed Bill to the most terrible hardship and harm because of his need to prove Missy could turn good…

Perhaps he had intended to be a part of the new series, but some sort of medical setback/issue? Lynch has gone to lengths, story-wise, to make sure that Harry is still alive in-universe and a part of the proceedings via updates from his brother. It keeps the door open a tic for a possible future return.

That's what I was getting out of it too, like a broader commentary on the vapid middle class not really paying attention to what each other are really like. As long as you wear the mask…"showing up is 80% of life" and all that…people just assume all is normal.

I was thinking about Lost last night, too. The Neoloution crew are being supreme dickheads with their omnipotence, much like The Others were for awhile, and I am rooting hard for their takedown.
