    Anything by Brian K. Vaughan is great. Likewise for Kelly Sue Deconnick (Captain Marvel, Pretty Deadly), Matt Fraction (Hawkeye, Sex Criminals), Jonathan Hickman (The Manhattan Projects, East of West), and Warren Ellis (too many to be named, but the recent Trees and Moon Knight runs are great).
