Hi Bela. Martyrs is the best (French/Canadian -actually filmed in Canada, not France). Then INSIDE, HAUTE TENSION, and FRONTIER(s).

Absolutely. "Passion of the Christ" was true torture porn as the believers actually enjoyed watching the incredible violence perpetuated on one person for over 2 hours.
Way more disgusting pointless violence in "POC" than Martyrs

I disagree to an extent. Porn is to be 'enjoyed' - torture is not. There is no enjoyment in the original "Martyrs" - some scenes reduced me to tears. I agree 100%. The original was actually less gory than people think.
And the "final third" was practically bloodless.
