    I can't remember if Emma's dad moved to Seattle with them. If not, wouldn't he still be in town and know that Norma had died? It just seems weird to me that after 2 years they have NO IDEA. Caleb even mentions having Emma having a Facebook, does she have no connection to anyone from her hometown that would mention
