I haven't agreed with a lot of what you said, but I think this is a good point. The pessimistic side of me agrees that this is just a ploy for ratings and not being done out of a genuine interest to add depth to gender representation. Bringing Romana back would have been a great idea.

When I watched the original Sam Raimi Spiderman movie with my buddies, we wet ourselves laughing at his turn as J Jonah Jamison. The fucking skinhead murdering rapist doing it, and doing it so perfectly was just too much for us. We couldn't control our laughter for like 5 minutes at least.

Enjoy! Despite all the negatively tinged comments on here, this was a brilliant show. Particularly the first season. Sure, there were a couple of stinkers here and there, but the overall quality was awesome.

Actually, it has just occurred to me that this contrast might be serving a point. Lynch is like, "See what traditional TV looks like now that I have shown you what the medium is capable of?"
