I actually thought the same thing about Cole's POV. He does look a mess. There are bits and pieces in each of the 4 POV's that make them look bad, but his was clearly the worst. I actually think it will be revealed that he hit Scotty.

I honestly thought it might be Whitney and Scott's kid. That baby looks like she is 2. That would mean 2 years in the future, he is being indicted? That timeline is screwed up.
