While watching with a friend we've been sort of joking on how Ward could kind of pass for Harold's brother though. He and Joy should be hardly 30 and 25 respectively but they look older.

It's true it could have been better executed. I think it's partly because it's easier with Ward and Harold because they're obviously both there whereas the monks are just in flasbacks and not even many of them. Everything about that place is just so… out of touch. I wish we'd learned more about it.

About Shonda keeping Rowan around, I think it might be a couple of things. First off he's the only one that won them awards (was it an Emmy?) and undeniably a great actor. Second, they might be willing to redeem him. Olivia is pretty isolated right now, she broke up with both her boyfriends (I don't want to be funny I

I'm with you for the ugh part. I used to like her and David, both individually and together.

he definitely had a point with the trump comment too.
i'm quite sure no actor from netflix/marvel's had pr assistance so far. it's just the small things - they all have something a good (aka merciless) pr would have definitely used in, say, an oscar campaign or vanity fair interview, like deborah ann woll's actually

Not sure child-like, naive cherub Danny would have worked with "180 pounds, muscular" dude though. Had he been a completely different character, maybe.

I read an interesting post this morning arguing that the entire theme of IF might be the many ways kids, and particularly the vulnerable ones, can be mentally abused by adults. If you think of Danny and the monks and Colleen + her students and… Okay I don't how to use spoiler brackets, and obviously young Ward too

Oh right DD changed its showrunner, that's probably why season 2 was so much worse than the first. So perhaps I can hope for a new showrunner after all. Let the guy work on Inhumans.

Re: budget and visuals, I read an Italian review the other day that while appreciating the show argued that a movie would have been a better pick due to exactly that.

I wouldn't be surprised by a change of showrunner though, at least depending on what kind of contract they drew, I mean they do care for the critics and even I objectively see that the dialogue is pretty weak.

I mean from what I've seen by finishing the season there's a pretty good reason to go on actually, it's more like if they want to put up with another year being trashed by the press.

Oh okay thanks, I was getting confused.

No.

It does? But don't you have to be, like, lucid? It's a genuine question.

Ah wait, are we saying it's sexist to assume if a piece of handwriting looks masculine or feminine? Accusations of sexism: check (again).

Definitely. It's typical I-did-lie-to-you-but-I-also-fell-for-you-after-all.

I don't mind it. I let go of a lot of shows but this one I still watch weekly. Still, Abby will always remain a desperate Olivia wannabe for me unless some tv miracle happens very soon.

Yeah it had to be Meg. I won't deny she'd fooled me too in that dramatic bit with Huck, but Charlie being evil again would be such a cop out.

She's this friend of Jennifer's (aka the girl Cyrus thought was sleeping with Vargas) Huck befriended and fell for. Now she killed Jennifer and presumably also Huck.

I could never buy Abby as a schemer or a power player so this is all so contrived to me. And yeah, trash could be the word.
