I thought the writing choice to say "I can't believe I'm seeing this with 'his own' eyes" instead of "my own eyes" was subtle but brilliant.

And speaking for the other gender…we slowly nodded our heads in solidarity of that feeling of betrayal. The one most of us have to suffer quietly but sounds just like that inside.
Jump into this season or the whole series?
I noticed that too, but thought it was an intentional narrative reflection of how much time H/E spend checking in on Stan and the Pastor about what's going on with their daughter but don't even know that their son is talking to his 'girlfriend's' dad about getting him into prep school. Kinda like when Stan dumped all…
So said the world…
Getting closer
I believe you missed his point here
I choose to code this scene in my memory as a tribute to the village that is Black fatherhood (rooted so deeply that even traveling across digital Dimensions can't tear it down); rather than assuming the worst, which would cause me to revolt and stop watching this show that just got awesome.
yeah, part of me thinks this is how one wakes up in the framework. not just being told about it, but finding that inner peace, that inner strength dot dot dot that drives you to who you're meant to be. and that is why I think Mack is still struggling to get there. Coulson jumped cuz he'd been there for so long.…
yes, I was thinking this somewhere in the back of my mind. The tension between Ward and Fitz has always been palpable and this would be a great way to capitalize on that. plus, we know that fitz as an actor can carry the ball. And as i said up thread, could be an interesting Simmons Ward empathy rebound temporary ship
since he's the only one that knows about the machine and the real world that's still in the framework, won't he have to return to make it relevant for the storyline? He and trip?
I'm laughing out loud picturing this moment from your life. thanks for the visual. I think my brother has these from time to time as well!
Unless she's inhuman…?

I did notice that! I think some marketing campaigns like to go for the meta humor! the same way some product placement can be an unobtrusive and integrated into the script/plot
Good point. The yank out caution seem to be more for Gemma and Daisy on the plane
'grounded' for the character as he is currently. While I could definitely argue to the contrary, I'm sticking with this idea that Mack is the only member of the team that isn't 'woke' (from inside the framework, even the evidence hasn't persuaded him entirely). Everyone else had their moment. So the decision was…

Big, grumpy, and funless? Really? That's what draws the comparison in your mind? Really? Are you sure? Because with that line of thinking, it should be May. But for…reasons…Mr. T and Mack are the parallel. Ok
no, I'm pretty sure Behind Enemy Lines got ordered to series (he's main cast). And, like with Pitch, he's recurring on 2 other shows, that I know of. So I don't see his schedule opening up again unless Behind Enemy Lines gets cancelled… but even then, he's a hot commodity.
