Shearer has WAY too much integrity and character to quit a show based on money, as he is well aware that he has no money woes and never will. I'm guessing he thinks that the show's dialogue stinks and it only stinks more year by year. A comic of his caliber must have to groan off mic in between lazily written lines.

He basically stuttered out "Shut the fuck up America. Shhhhhhh."
