Not that I'd ever recommend that anyone read "Flashpoint" of their own free will, but, well… read "Flashpoint." Unintended consequences and all that.

Heh. I was thinking that to myself - that Barry's too good a guy to let that lady miss her cab.

Arrow can't match the sheer volume of material that Flash throws at the wall every week. This show had Weather Wizard tossing a freaking tsunami at Central and it was, like, the C-plot.

A- if only because they kind of played it straight with Wells when I was hoping all this time that there was a gigantic swerve in there. Yes, it all made perfect sense and was suitably awesome, but there was a bit of a sense of keeping things simple in order not to scare off some of the non-comics fans.

"Dude can run faster than the speed of sound: still on train."

Caitlin seems like EXACTLY the girl who'd do that.

That's kind of the point, I think - that Barry's speed is amping up.

Yeah, that got a little "…cooool…" out of me.

I'm just glad I was right about Wally chasing a Zoom back in time to his mother's death.

It bugged me, but mainly because there really wasn't a point to it. If she doesn't show up, the scene proceeds in the exact same way. It's not like Eddie didn't want to help and she talked him into doing it (which at least would have justified her presence).

I think rule one for this show should be "whatever Smallville did, do the opposite."

It doesn't really matter if Iris is the least developed character on the show - she's not that important until Zoom tickles her brain.

Red is apparently an incredibly annoying colour for CGI effects. That's probably 90% of the reason they tinted the suit darker.

Well, he tried hitting him with a flagpole and got the crap kicked out of him….

Barry wasn't even sure if he could break the sound barrier yet. He's a LONG way from pulling any of those tricks.

Far more likely that they're both Zoom at different points in his own personal timeline. Or different Zooms. They're not going to delve into multiverse bullshit (sorry, child of the 80s who hates how DC's devolved away from the nice, simple, one earth setup).

If only because TV has trained us to expect a swerve.

It's no fun if literally everyone knows the hero's secret ID, though. And if Wells is a swerve, you can be damned sure Eddie's already in on the secret.

"Am I the only one who thinks Girder is just a cheap knock off of the X-Men's Colossus?"

If you saw a guy with a head on fire walking down the street, would you stop to consider that he just transmuted the kiddie pool into acid?
