I'm not familiar with Mr. Elba, but if one were casting for a Bond of color my vote would be for Boris Kodjoe - based entirely upon his looks - i know nothing about his acting ability. However he is German/now American, speaks several languages, and could probably grind out a British accent. Google him - Boris Kodjoe.
