Can someone explain to me why Ming keeps returning to CBB, despite never being funny for a second even accidentally, and having no character traits whatsoever?

This, Japandroids, and Ty Segall all releasing new albums on the same day was like 2012 had returned to go "remember how much you loved this? Here's some stuff like that that's not as good but good enough"

I too, love his daring take on the Popeye mythos.

Yeah, the whole thing there was that Michael thought they would go around and around like this for at least 1,000 years, and it unraveled in only a few months because the people actually liked each other.

I'm told the film is about as good and they're about as likeable as U2's Rattle & Hum, sooooo….

I put in 5 bucks to MaxFun, 5 bucks to the Best Show, and 1 dollar a month to Mega64.

I love Thomas Middleditch and Jason Mantzoukas, but that episode with the two of them is one of the least-funny CBBs I've ever heard. That got voted at number TWO??

The worst thing about Collateral Beauty is it sounds like an amazing premise for an Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode.

I remember specifically thinking that when I Kissed A Girl and Poker Face came out that these Katy Perry and Lady Gaga people were flash in the pan, and would go nowhere. I'm an idiot, basically.

Are you SURE that's not JK Simmons?

They did 5 years of gimmicks to distract you from that they completely gave up on songwriting.

Don't expect this movie to be an adaptation of the first book. What's more likely is it'll be a mix of elements from the first THREE books, with the rest saved for if the series takes off.

Which is great! Put that stuff in the movie, though.

Star Wars doesn't work without strong characters. Characters are what I specifically come to Star Wars FOR. I don't just intrinsically love the story of blowing up a big space circle, I love Han Solo and Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker (and now Finn and Rey). I didn't connect with any of these characters nearly on

He does get his moment with the Force. He walks through No Man's Land to get to the power switch completely unscathed due to his faith.

Disney really is starting to justify their world domination with quality. I haven't seen any of their actual movies in a while, but I know people really liked Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen, and Moana.

Kylo Ren was the strongest character in a movie overflowing with great new characters.

But then the movie would have like 40% less Mads Mikkelsen, and we can't have that.

I really, really wish they just recast. I know Peter Cushing was an iconic actor, and he had an amazing look, but there are a lot of actors you could get to be gaunt and intimidatingly snide. And just don't show me Leia's face, she can even say the big last line, but for the love of god, save your money and don't

They had to all die in this movie, because they're not in A New Hope or any other movie. Any surviving member of that core crew would be an essential member of the continuing Rebellion efforts to blow that sucker up, and to have them survive and not take part means they would have to write them out of the story
