Agree. Also re: slo mo, A not too subtle reprise of Peggy's triumphant hallway strut in last episode of Mad Men. Talk about pulling you out of the scene! I interpreted as a (not so much) subliminal bid for an Emmy nomination. (Moss was nominated 5 times for that role.)
